Terms of Service

Please read these Terms before using our website, paying a deposit or balance, or booking a trip. Our Booking Terms are part of these Terms.

Last updated: October 22, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Freedom Peak Expeditions and Adventures LLC ("Freedom Peak," "we," "us"), a Colorado limited liability company. They apply when you use freedompeakexpeditions.com, request a consultation, make a payment, or book a trip with us.

By using our website, making a payment or booking a trip, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our website or services.

2. Booking Terms are part of these Terms

Every trip is also governed by our Booking Terms. They cover deposits, balance payments, cancellations and refunds, changes, travel insurance, health and fitness requirements, and travel documents. The Booking Terms are part of these Terms. If anything in the two conflicts about a booking, the Booking Terms apply.

Some trips are hosted by an independent tour leader and have their own trip-specific terms, such as the Peru Huayhuash 2027 Booking Terms & Trip Policies. Trip-specific terms apply in addition to these Terms and the Booking Terms. Where they differ, the trip-specific terms govern that trip.

3. Our services

  • We plan and book guided expeditions, climbs, treks, safaris and adventure travel to destinations around the world. These include Kilimanjaro climbs, Tanzania safaris and Zanzibar stays, the Cordillera Huayhuash trek in Peru, and other trips we add over time. We support you before your trip with consultations, itinerary planning, conditioning plans and gear guidance.
  • Each trip is operated on the ground by a vetted, licensed local operator in that destination. In Tanzania, this is our partner Kilimanjari Explorer. For other destinations, your itinerary names the local operator. These operators and our other independent suppliers (hotels, lodges, camps, airlines and transport providers) provide their services under their own terms and conditions.
  • Each trip's deposit, payment schedule and cancellation terms are set out in our Booking Terms and on that trip's page.
  • We can't guarantee reaching a summit, particular wildlife sightings, weather or views. Mountain, trail and safari conditions change, and safety always comes first.

4. Who can book

  • You must be at least 18 years old to book or pay. Travelers under 18 must be booked by, and travel with, a parent or legal guardian.
  • If you book for a group, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these Terms and the Booking Terms for everyone in your group, and that you'll share them with your group.

5. Website information and prices

  • We work hard to keep our website accurate. However, itineraries, photos, descriptions and prices are for general information. Sample itineraries may change because of park rules, weather, availability or safety.
  • Prices are in US dollars and may change until your booking is confirmed in writing. If we spot an obvious pricing error before we confirm your booking, we'll let you know. You can then accept the correct price or receive a full refund.

6. Payments

  • Online payments, including deposits and balances, are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your payment information is also subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
  • By paying, you confirm that you're authorized to use the payment method, and that the amount and trip details you enter are correct.
  • All amounts are charged in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer may add foreign transaction or currency fees, and these are your responsibility.
  • Payment amounts and due dates are set out in the Booking Terms. If a payment fails or is reversed, your booking may be canceled under the Booking Terms.

7. Refunds and payment disputes

Refunds are given only as described in the Booking Terms and on your trip's page. Deposits are non-refundable when you cancel (if we cancel a trip, the Booking Terms or trip-specific terms set out your refund). Deposit amounts vary by trip: for example, $100 per person for Kilimanjaro climbs and Tanzania safaris unless a trip states otherwise, and $1,200 per person for the Cordillera Huayhuash trek in Peru.

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first at allsevensummits@gmail.com or (310) 465-6178. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Starting a card dispute (chargeback) without contacting us first may delay a resolution.

8. Consultations, training plans and advice

Consultations, conditioning plans, gear lists, altitude information and other guidance are general information based on our experience. They are not medical advice. Please talk to your doctor before you start training or travel to high altitude, and follow any training plan at your own pace and risk. Tell us about any health conditions that could affect your safety.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate, complete information, including names as shown on passports, contact details and relevant health information.
  • Hold valid travel documents and the required travel insurance (see the Booking Terms).
  • Follow the instructions of your guides and our partners, especially on safety, park rules and wildlife.
  • Treat guides, porters, staff, local communities and other travelers with respect. If someone's behavior puts the safety or wellbeing of others at risk, we or our partners may remove them from the trip without a refund.

10. Assumption of risk

Climbing at high altitude and traveling in remote areas involve real risks. These include altitude sickness, injury, illness, extreme weather, wildlife, road travel and limited access to medical care. You take part voluntarily and accept these risks. You'll also be asked to sign a participant waiver before your trip.

11. Limitation of liability

  • We choose our partners and suppliers carefully. They are independent businesses, however, and we aren't liable for their acts or omissions, except where the law says otherwise.
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost earnings, missed connections or non-refundable bookings you made separately. Our total liability for any claim relating to a trip is limited to the amount you paid us for that trip.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs we incur because you broke these Terms or the Booking Terms, misused our website, or acted unlawfully or unsafely during a trip, to the extent allowed by law.

13. Using our website

  • The text, photos, logo and design of this website belong to Freedom Peak or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.
  • Don't misuse the website or its forms, for example by sending spam, false information or harmful code.
  • Links to other websites, such as our partner's site, are provided for convenience. We aren't responsible for their content.

14. Your information

When you contact us, request a consultation or pay, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, trip details and payment records. We use it only to respond to you, plan and operate your trip, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We share it only with the partners and service providers needed to do that, such as our local ground operators (for example, Kilimanjari Explorer in Tanzania), hotels and lodges, Stripe (payments) and Formspree (website forms). We never sell your information. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email allsevensummits@gmail.com. Our full Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your information.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. The version in effect when you pay applies to that payment and booking.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. If a dispute arises, we'll first try to resolve it informally. Contact us and we'll respond personally. Any dispute that can't be resolved will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless the law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
