Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, share and protect your personal information.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Freedom Peak Expeditions and Adventures LLC ("Freedom Peak," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit freedompeakexpeditions.com, contact us, request a consultation, pay, or travel with us. If you have questions, contact us at allsevensummits@gmail.com or (310) 465-6178.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact and consultation requests: your name, email address, phone number, the trip you're interested in, group size, preferred dates and anything you tell us about your experience, goals or fitness.
- Booking details: the full names of travelers as shown on passports, dates of birth, nationality and passport details where our partners need them, emergency contacts, dietary needs, and relevant health information you choose to share for your safety.
- Payments: when you pay, Stripe collects your card or bank details directly. We receive only limited payment information, such as your name, email, amount paid, the last four digits of your card and the trip the payment is for. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Communications: emails, messages and call notes between you and us.
Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, to deliver and secure the website. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on our website.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and hold your consultation
- To plan, book and operate your trip, including arranging guides, permits, park fees, accommodation and transfers
- To take deposits and balance payments, send receipts and invoices, and handle refunds
- To keep you safe: medical checks, emergency planning and contacting your emergency contact if needed
- To prepare you for your trip with conditioning plans, gear advice and check-ins
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to prevent fraud
- To send occasional updates about our trips, only if you've agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
5. How information is shared
We share information electronically: by secure email, through our service providers' secure systems (for example, payments go directly from your browser to Stripe over an encrypted connection), or by phone where needed during a trip. Some recipients, such as our partners and suppliers in Tanzania, Peru and other destinations, are outside the United States. We share only what each one needs for your trip.
6. How we protect your information
- Our website uses HTTPS encryption on every page.
- Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Card details never pass through or get stored on our systems.
- Our accounts and email use strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and access to customer information is limited to people who need it to run your trip.
- We keep paper notes to a minimum and store records securely.
No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will let you know if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
7. How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide your trip and to meet tax and legal requirements (generally up to seven years). We delete or anonymize consultation inquiries that don't lead to a booking after about two years, unless you ask us to keep in touch. Health information is kept only as long as it's needed for your trip and safety.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it for legal or tax reasons.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- To make a request, email allsevensummits@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Our website isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information online. Information about travelers under 18 is provided by their parent or guardian when booking.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
